Kids Health and Pediatrics Question

User Profile
My kids’ mother has used permanent hair dye on them recently. The warnings specifically say not to use on children. The two products are Got2be blue metallic, and L’Oréal Féria bright orange. The children are ages 13 and 3 years old. What can you tell me about the dangers of these products on my sons? She expects me to continue their hair dyes with the leftover products when I have them next weekend. I have no intention of doing so.

Thank you for asking at Ehealth forum!

I read your question and i understand your concern. A dye wont damage their scalp unless it has some forbidden elements in it. Rest with hair regrowth this dye will go away. Avoid using dyes in children usually.

I hope it helps. Stay in touch with your healthcare provider for further guidance as our answers are just for education and counselling purposes and cannot be an alternative to actual visit to a doctor.
