I had a kidney infection late last month and now i've missed my period should I be worried and is it related to the infection I had and I'm 100% sure i'm not pregnant

Hello and thank you for posting your medical question on E health Forum.

Sometimes stress and inflammation resulting due to infection can cause delay in the periods.

Steroids produced as a result of infections, cause changes in the gonadotrophin levels that can result in changes in menstrual cycles.

But this is a short lived and will resolve on its own.

You might consider to consult your doctor or a OB/GYN who can examine you and determine if anything is wrong.
