It is not a condition per se however it is associated with kidney dysfunction particularly chronic kidney disease Meaning if there is loss of corticomedullary differentiation and then it is likely to be associated with worsening renal function and a rising creatinine. The condition is manageable with proper treatment and if the cause of the German for example if the chronic kidney disease is associated with diabetes or hypertension if the diabetes and hypertension are well-controlled then progression of the chronic kidney disease is retarded with better outcomes
