jewelry gives me irritation and rash

User Profile
Sometimes when I wear certain jewelry it gives me a slight irritation and a little rash, which is usually gone within 24 hours after removing the jewelry. This time I have had a rash for over a week on my neck. It is no longer red or itchy, but feels dry and bumpy. What should I do?

Hi,
Welcome to the forum and I am glad to help you out. Applying some local moisturizing and soothing lotion like lactocalamine should help in the improvement of the symptoms. You can also use some anti-histaminics for the improvement.

Please avoid wearing the jewelery of the metal which gives you allergy for that is the best remedy of this ailment. Avoid the trigger. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.
