Is there something wrong with my hormones?

I am wondering if there is something wrong with my hormones. I am a 21 year old chinese female, 5'9, approximately 170 lbs.

Lately, I feel like i'm having hot flashes, which don't make sense, since i'm only 21. I have periods where i suddenly get very hot. My mom is nearing her 60s, and she started having hot flashes a few years ago...so I don't understand why I'm having hot flashes now.
Also, my period has always been irregular. I was on birth control for about a year, and while i was on it, my periods became regular. I've stopped the birth control, and now my periods are irregular again. I know I'm not pregnant because I am not sexually active. Whenever my period is late, I get acne. It's gotten better over the years, but it is still a big problem.
I work out at least 4 days a week for at least an hour, eat clean, yet still have a hard time losing weight.
I am currently in nursing school, and working 2 jobs to support myself, so I would say I am under a substantial amount of stress. I sleep well though, even though I wake up in the middle of the night once or twice (not every night) to urinate.
Do I have a hormone problem?

It's possible you could have Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS). A thyroid or pituitary problem are a couple of other possibilities that come to mind. Irregular periods (typically with missed periods), being overweight or prone to weight gain, acne, excess body and facial hair, oily skin and hair are some of the common symptoms of PCOS.
