Sorry to hear this from you...but yes one thing is for sure that weight does affect fertility in most cases...so try reducing your weight first by natural means like daily exercise, and even yoga should help a lot.Keep a low calorie and fats free diet .Avoid oily food and have fresh vegetables and sprouts.About INFERTILITY clinics in Gurgoaon and Delhi-Bournhall clinic is there in Gurgaon...heard lot good reviews..and they specialize in IVF treatment since they are also founders of IVF technique..best of luck!

Thank you for asking at Ehealth forum!

I read your question and i understand your concern. Overweight is the cause of infertility. It is usually associated with PCOS and hormonal imbalances of thyroid and cushings. You need to get evaluated by a fertility consultant, lose weight, take metformin, clomid and get evaluated for any other hormonal imbalance. Modifying diet lifestyle will help.

I hope it helps. Stay in touch with your healthcare provider for further guidance as our answers are just for education and counselling purposes and cannot be an alternative to actual visit to a doctor.
Take care

Packing extra pounds on your frame can disrupt the delicate balance of hormones that influence ovulation and fertilization, reducing your chances of getting pregnant.
Here's why. Extra fat cells don't just make your jeans feel tighter. They also produce a steady stream of the hormone estrogen. The result? Low, constant levels of estrogen in turn suppress other hormones, most notably LH (luteinizing hormone) and FSH (follicle-stimulating hormone), which are needed to trigger ovulation. Follow your dr's advice. Stay well!

Infertility is caused due to many reasons. One of the reasons can be being overweight. As mentioned by Mr. Khan it is generally related to PCOS and other issues.

Please do take a second opinion in this situation.
