Welcome to ehealthforum,
Women experience period pattern changes and breakthrough bleeding while being on hormonal contraceptive pills. It is difficult to comment on the exact cause for the change in period pattern that you describe without further evaluation. Wait and watch for your periods/withdrawal bleeding (that should occur during placebo pill week). Visit your doctor/gynecologist for further evaluation, clarification and assistance. Be in regular monitoring and follow-up with your treating doctor/gynecologist and report any new/abnormal symptoms immediately.
Take care.
