Hello and Welcome

I appreciate your concern

Vitamin D causes calcium and phosphate absorption from small intestine and directs phosphate resorption at renal tubule in the kidneys. It stimulates the secretion of calcium into the blood from bone.25-80 ng/mL is considered optimum vitamin D level of the 25 OH type. Vitamin D supplementation can be of help in those that are deficient and has no serious side effects unless one is allergic to the contents of the supplements. Fatty fish, salmon, orange juice, soya milk, cereals, Beef, liver, Cheese, Egg yolks. Food fortified in vitamin D has been adopted as a measure to counter and prevent its deficiency.

wishing you best of health

thanks
