Dear Ma'am,
I have right fallopian tube blocked and left is fine. And i am ovulating from right side since past one year even with CC, HMG.I tried laproscopy and it failed to open right tube.
I have gone for 1 IVF and it has failed. Before IVF, my doctor tried for IUI but couldn't do as i was ovulating from right.
What is the option left for me? Is IVF the only option left? Is there any medicine to make ovulation from my left ovary. Before 1 year, i was ovulating from left but at that time my prolactin was high so size of egg was not proper.
I don't want to go for another IVF, please advise.

Hi, and thanks for your query on eHealth forum!

Usually both ovaries ovulate during a year, one may ovulate more than the other. Apart from clomiphene and gonoadotrophins, other drugs which can be tried are aromatase inhibitors, gonadorelin acetate and other gonadotrophins. IUI can be repeated. However, to conceive and carry pregnancy forward, many other factors are also important—like level of prolactin, thyroid hormone, progesterone etc. You will need to discuss this in detail with your specialist. Hope this helps. Take care!
