Is it possible that I have HIV just because I have Tuberculosis?

User Profile
I have been diagnosed with Pulmonary Tuberculosis just this month and I am still in my 2 weeks medication. At first, it was pneumonia and I was not treated by any antibiotics I've taken. Now, I'm so concern when I read an article that HIV and TB is kinda close to each other. I'm worried because I already have 5 sex partners.. all of them are my boyfriends in a separate time.. but now, I only have 1 sex partner which is my fiance. I am so paranoid with what I've seen, I need your advice.

Go get tested. Then you won't have to worry.

HIV and TB don't go together, but many people who get TB also get HIV because of a compromised immune system.

Don't worry. Get tested and then you will know.

But if you get tested and find out you have HIV, be honest with your fianc. It is not fair to give a lifetime disease to someone without letting them know.
