Got checked for chlamidya and gonorrhoea 5 days after sex! If they come back negative will it be false?

Hello,
Thanks for submitting your question here.
Each disease has an incubation period and if you are tested within this,test might show negative results whereas you are originally positive.
This period for these disease is 2 to 6 days and thus positively you need a retesting on 7 th day if you have negative test results on 5 th day.
