Hi, I'm not a doctor but I've had IBS for over twenty years. Keeping a food journal sometimes helps to determine what foods bother you. If you're like me, though, sometimes you can eat a particular food and sometimes you can't. I used to find that during my period my IBS was much worse, as well as during hot weather. I would also ask the doctor for different medication, if the current one isn't working. Good luck to you.

try a para cleanse, colon cleanse and colonics to clean up. generally IBS is actually contipation - the large stools aren't being broken down, the intestinal tract is narrowing and as a result you only release the residue (diarhea). unfortunately, some of the fibre you are taking may make it worse. it could end up in twisted bowel or worse. clean out first; i'm not a doctor either, I have just gone through a few painfull years and am just starting to get better. i have found that eating meat & pork makes it worse; i try to stay with easily soluable food.
