User Profile
24. Family doc says i have irritable bowel sydrome and colon spasms. Only had a ct scan done. I have serve pain before and while i use the bathroom. Stools are loose but sometime hard. I feel most of the time i dont get it all out so end up turning right back around to try to go again. I go about 5-7 times and day and right after i get done eating. Is this due to the irriablt bowel and the colon spasms

Hello and Welcome

I appreciate your concern.

Yes it most likely seems to be irritable bowel syndrome.

I would empirically recommend a two week course of
mebeverine, Eucarbon and sucralfate in consultation with your doctor to see for improvement, if symptoms persist then a colonoscopy and biopsy and barium studies may be indicated in consult with your doctor to rule out other causes

wishing you best of health

Thanks
