irregular periods for only 2 or 3 days and cramping

hello ladies i need some help. for the last 6 months or so my periods have been terribly irregular. they are either 1 week early or 1 week late but never on time. i normally bleed for 7 days straight but ive been bleeding for only 2 or 3 days and then i will have brown discharge and cramping for like a week straight and its so frustrating. there are no chances of stds (i am married and we are faithful) or pregnancy (tubes tied). i have no health insurance so i cant go to the doctor so can someone please give me any ideas as to what could be wrong.

It could be a number of things for example:

Stress: Stress is a common cause of irregular periods. If you are fatigued, worried, or anxious this can cause your hormones to become unbalanced.

Diet: A poor diet or extreme weight loss or gain can also affect your hormones. Women with anorexia or bulimia often have no period or irregular periods.

Exercise: Intense exercise can wreak havoc on your body, often causing irregular periods.

hormonal imbalances, PCOS, Endrometrosis are just a few of them. It might be worth getting insurance and having tests and examinations done to find out what's causing the irregular periods. Hope this helps Smile
