I have three boys all teenagers now except oldest is 20. I just turned 40. For the past few months I have been having movement and I mean kicks, I would guess starting 6 months but all tests point to not pregnant...had urine 3 months ago and blood 2 months ago....both negative. I keep telling myself no but my stomache is growing while I am losing weight everywhere else. Now heres the kicker...I have breast milk and heartburn and nasious but dont throw up...I pee all the time, eating weird, never ate weird with my other period has always run like clockwork and have always been able to calculate what day it will arrive....for the past 5 or 6 months though it has been messed up....either too early or late but never on time, just somewhere around the time. I still run a 4 day blled but have always had heavy flow....starting to get lighter last 2 periods but still the more I tell myself I am not the more things go on....Went to the doctor for a regular pap....have never had a bad

Welcome to the ehealthforum. I am glad to help you out. You are suffering from Galactorrhea, or inappropriate lactation. This can occur in approximately 20 to 25 percent of women. Lactation requires the presence of estrogen, progesterone and, most importantly, prolactin.

The important causes of galactorrhea which need to be looked into are pituitary adenomas, hypothyroidism, various medications like antidepressants, blood pressure medicines and certain tranquilizers, breast stimulation. Important diagnostic tests include a pregnancy test, a prolactin level, kidney and thyroid function tests and, if indicated, magnetic resonance imaging of the brain to rule out prolactinoma of the pituitary gland.

Hypothyroidism & Pituitary Prolactinomas can also cause a disturbance in the periods. I’ll suggest consulting an endocrinologist for the same as it is not possible to make an online diagnosis. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.
