internal bumps that line my vagina. They match color

User Profile
OK SO, recently I've developed discharge which varies from being creamy and white to very dry, I've had moderate discomfort and itch off and on. I checked out my vagina last night and discovered I have internal bumps that line my vagina. They match the color of my walls and seem to be clusters, they're thin and a little long but theres a lot of them... Almost finger shaped. What the hell????

Herpes and Genital Warts Answer A50159

Welcome to the ehealthforum and I am really glad to help you out.

For your symptom of discharge, candida infection needs to be ruled out. The characteristic feature is a curd like or cottage cheese like thick vaginal discharge. Get a pelvic swab done from a gynecologist and for specific treatment antifungal pessaries like clotrimazole , miconazole or nystatin are required which are available by prescription.

However for the internal bumps, genital warts is an important possibility which should be ruled out by examination. Warts are tumours or growths of the skin caused by infection with Human Papillomavirus (HPV).They are contagious when in contact with the skin of an infected person. Exactly what it is can be confirmed only after examination and biopsy.

You should consult a gynecologist and get it done.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.
