Hi im 24/m. I get a very discomforting feeling in lower abdomen if i eat more than 2 meals/day, which causes VERY poor quality sleep which makes me feel extremely tired the next day. Checked with urologist and nothing detected. Urination also seems to be slowed down the more I eat after 2 meals/day. Since I have been sticking to this diet, im underweight and look malnutritioned. This has been happening for years, and i've always been diagnosed with IBS which i think is not the case. Is this serious?? Please help thank you.

Thank you for asking at Ehealth forum!

I read your question and i understand your concern. Your symptoms with all labs and work up clear perfectly match for IBS. i would suggest diet and lifestyle modifications by reducing dairy products intake and prefering fiber and fluids and soft diet. Take symptomatic treatment. Eat small frequent meals instead of two large ones. Bowel training exercises and bowel habits are advised.

I hope it helps. stay in touch with your healthcare provider for further guidance as our answers are just for education and counselling purposes and can not be an alternative to actual visit to a doctor.

Take care
