Hi, I was in Long Island, NY over the Summer and came back with a rash of insect bites all over my legs, feet, stomach and back. Also, my lips are swollen. I found a bug on my couch today and I’m wondering if this is the culprit. Can I send you a photo?

Insect Bites Answer A64391
Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum,
It is difficult to comment whether the rashes that you describe are due to any insect bite or systemic illness without examining you thoroughly. If the rashes are associated with fever, or if they are worsening, or spreading, do not ignore your symptoms. Consider visiting your doctor/healthcare provider and go ahead with getting further evaluation done and get started on treatment as appropriate based on your evaluation results. Consider being in regular monitoring and follow-up with your treating doctor/healthcare provider and report any new/abnormal symptoms immediately. Drink plenty of water. Take adequate rest. Maintain healthy diet and lifestyle.
Take care.
