infection is lingering. What can I do to lift my spirits?

User Profile
The weather lately has been quite uncomfortable here lately. It is cloudy and quite humid. I'm down because of the weather being poor, but also not enjoying not being able to do as much activity outdoors as I typically enjoy doing due to having a viral infection. My mood is suffering from these two things and coughing is problematic. I am usually in this sort of mood when I feel ill. It's been a depressing time as whatever viral infection I have is lingering over 4 days now. What can I do to lift my spirits?

Thank you for asking at Ehealth forum!

I read your question and i understand your concern. Weather has effects on mood and performance is reduced in hot and humid weather. Stay hydrated, rest adequate and avoid exposures in hot and blazing sun. Electrolytes rich fluids and supportive care for your symptoms.

I hope it helps. Stay in touch with your healthcare provider for further guidance as our answers are just for education and counselling purposes and cannot be an alternative to actual visit to a doctor.
Take care
