I just started the induction diet. I exercise 3 - 5 times per week and burn 600 - 1800 calories each time I exercise. My resting metabolic rate is 1998 calories. I burn 2980 calories a day with only moderate exercise.
My concern is I am not getting enough calories and my body is going into starvation mode if I am only eating three meals and one snack a day totaling about 2000 calories, especially on the days when I exercise.
This is not covered in the book. They advise to exercise only lightly during the first two weeks of induction. Does any qualified person have any scientific or anecdotal advice on what to do?
