User Profile
Hey doctor!
My gynaecologist prescribed duphaston to stop the spotting I was have after two months of my surgery for ectopic pregnancy. I took 2 tablets a day for 10 days. After stopping duphaston, it's been 7th day and still no signs of periods. Please tell me how to induce periods since I'm going on a vacation. I can't be pregnant cuz I've took all safety measures. Please help.

Thank you for asking at Ehealth forum!

I read your question and I understand your concern.
It is only two months you had a pregnancy. So,your body needs a minimum time period of 3 to 6 months to have an reestablished cycle again.First confirm you are non-pregnant by doing a urine for pregnancy testing.if it is negative, few courses of common contraceptive pills will be helpful here for few months.
I hope it helps. Stay in touch with your healthcare provider for further guidance as our answers are just for education and counselling purposes and cannot be an alternative to actual visit to a doctor.
Take care
