Help!! A rather painful, inch long blister appeared on the roof of my mouth. Started out the size of an aspirin but has gotten large. I've had a severe sore throat for a week now also, did a strep test that was negative but wasn't given a prescription for anything else

I read your question and i understand your concern. Apply some topical anesthetic gels and antifungal gels, and wait and observe. These are likely aphthous ulcers and self resolve in a couple of days. get a physician to have a look.
