Every other day should be enough and you should get pregnant inside three months. Your child deserves the best possible start in life. Are you sure you are in a position to give it this or are you doing it for selfish reasons?

You are still young and there is no reason to worry.

In most normal couples, pregnancy can be achieved within 12 months of unprotected intercourse. About 82-87% of couples in their 20s through mid-30s will become pregnant within 1 year of co-habitation.

The chance of conceiving among couples in which the woman is less than 32 years old is approximately 20-25%, per monthly cycle. This means that the human reproduction is less efficient than most other species.

There are three things a couple must have to get pregnant: the woman must ovulate, the man must have sperm, and the woman must have open fallopian tubes. If any of these are not functioning optimally, a couple may experience infertility, which affects about 13-15% of couples at any point in their reproductive lives.

You need to relax and try to enjoy your sexual life, normally, and this would help you conceive faster. Having a lot of expectations or getting stressed or anxious while you are trying to conceive can affect ovulation and implantation due to hormonal imbalance caused by stress.

If your urine pregnancy test is negative even after 7 -10 days of missing your period, it is likely that your lack of periods is due to Non-Pregnancy related issues.

Common causes for irregular cycles can be - Severe stress and anxiety, acute weight changes, eating disorders (Bulemia), Athletes (Rigorous exercise), conditions like ovarian cysts (with irregular cycles), Hormonal conditions (Eg Dysfunctional uterine bleeding) and hypothyroidism.

You can wait patiently and you may get your next cycle in due time.

If you miss your cycle or have irregular bleeding patterns then you may consult with your OBGYN doctor who can examine you and provide you proper care and advice. A few tests including a ultrasound, thyroid function tests and others can be done to determine any treatable cause of your irregular cycles and also help you conceive sooner.

I hope this helps.
