was on nuvaring, got pregnant, hcg of 1900 4/23 2350 on 4/25 but nothing on the TV US. Dr is telling me to do D&C or shot of methotrexate but im not convinced that this is not a viable pregnancy. What are your thoughts? is this eptopic? I go back 4/29 for another hcg and tv us. There is thickining in my uterus but only looks like fluid in there right now. Experiencing nausia and tiredness. If we see a sac on Monday what range should be HCG levels be? Dr is telling me w such low #s may have something wrong with the baby if i do carry it to term

Early Pregnancy Signs and Symptoms Answer A43098
Welcome to ehealthforum,
If there has been problem with wrong dates, the ultrasound scan done can fail to detect pregnancy. However, if your serial HCG estimations have been showing increase in HCG levels, then you should consider waiting for sometime and repeating the ultrasound scan. If the HCG levels are not adequate, and if you are not having any other symptoms suggestive of miscarriage, external supplementation of HCG and progesterone should be considered to help you prevent impending miscarriage and carry the pregnancy smoothly,. Discuss about these options with your treating doctor/gynecologist, or consider taking second opinion from another gynecologist. Be in regular monitoring and follow-up with your treating doctor/gynecologist and report any new/abnormal symptoms immediately. Take adequate rest. Drink plenty of water. Maintain healthy diet. Look out for danger signs like increase in intensity of abdominal cramps, increasing back pain, fresh bleeding etc. Avoid bending or lifting any heavy weights and avoid heavy work. Avoid standing for long duration and avoid climbing stairs. Avoid use of caffeinated and carbonated beverages.
Take care.
