I'm scared to get check up but I know I have to.

I'm a 52 year old male. I get burning and rectal bleeding if I walk for long distances. I also get it if I eat the wrong foods or release bowls too many times per day. I'm afraid to get a check up. First, I'm embarrassed about having a doctor look up my anus. Second, I'm afraid it will hurt! Third, God forbid, if it's something more serious.

What should I expect when I go for a check up? What kind of doctor should I see? Is there any natural ways I can get rid of bleeding hemorrhoids?

I need some encouragement here. Smile

Do enema gently and lie on bed for 5mins before BM. Avoid constipation. Drink 6 to 8 glasses of water. Eat non greasy and non spicy foods. Follow all these till you recover completely. Don't go for walk, excercise or lift weights .

Colon and rectal specialist can take care of the situation properly. At this stage, you have to go to doctor.

Thank you. Is it possible to never have to worry about hemorrhoids again after they go away?

Yes its possible to not see hemorrhoids in future. When one or more of the blood vessels gets blocked, it swells and as result of it hemorrhoids shows up.

To avoid it completely in future, make sure colon walls breaths, relaxes and its clean. So for that you shouldn't sit in a position continuously for hours. Every 30mins, get up from your chair or breath heavily once, so that that area gets some blood circulation. Our body need little excercise everyday rather than being idle throughout the day. May be few simple movements. Eat salads, fruits, drink real fruit/vegetable juices one or the other everyday. Drink lots of water. Avoid constipation by maintaining good eating habbits/bed times. Try to go for BM everyday.

Avoid constipation and spicy/greasy food, drink 6 to 8 glasses of water everyday, these 3 should take care of colon problems.

Our colon is same as skin on the face, it need care.
