I'm losing my appetite and I feel like throwing up every time I

I'm always hungry but don't want to eat because I hate all the food (even the food that I used to like). I HATE EATING! IT IS A SERIOUS NIGHTMARE! Every time I eat is because I have to so I can move and live. I force the food in my mouth and force myself to view and swallow! Food tastes gross to me and after a few bites of force-feeding, I get full and can't eat anymore. Now, I'm going into depression because I always feel nauseous, sick, weak, lazy, and I can never do anything. I've lost all my energy! I literally almost threw up several time forcing the food or just thinking about it. I feel sick just thinking about food. I simply HATE food and I wish I never ever have to eat. This has caused me a lot of stress because of my lack of performance and having to force myself to eat everyday. I'm currently 123 pounds and I'm a 19 year old male, 5'9 and I should weigh more for my height. I told my doctor and she had me keep a food log for a week, looked at it, went over it with me, and seemed to ignore it. Now I have no insurance and I'm stuck with no help. It is a DREAM to have the appetite to eat and enjoy food so I can eat more and gain more weight! I BEG ANYONE TO HELP ME! I am getting suicidal because of the pain and stress I'm going through everyday! Any help is appreciated!

Thank you for asking at Ehealth forum!

I read your question and I understand your concern.
Your symptoms are consistent with anorexia nervosa. You would need SSRI like flouxetine, psychotherapy sessions and self coping mechanisms to overcome this problem.
I hope it helps. Stay in touch with your healthcare provider for further guidance as our answers are just for education and counselling purposes and cannot be an alternative to actual visit to a doctor.
