About a year ago I was diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD). I don't know what to do. I just feel so alone, like no one else out there can help me. I've heard that treatment centers can help, does anyone know of any? Or is there anyone else out there like me?

Depends on where you live and what country you live in. I've attached some links for places, you can type them (or copy and paste)into a search engine and give them a ring to see if they know places closer to you.

America: Borderline Personality Disorder Resource Center
NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital - Westchester Division

UK (sort of, there's some blog's on here that might be good to read.): http://www.mind.org.uk/mental_health_a-z/8 037_borderline_personality_disorder

Ihope these help, you are not alone.

Thank you for asking at Ehealth forum!

I read your question and i understand your concern. Borderline personality trait responds very nicely to psychotherapy sessions. being alone makes it worse. Always stay in company. Use some harmless maneuvers to channel your stress instead of hurting yourself. Use of a rubber band on wrist works, when ever you feel like punishing yourself, just give it a swing on your wrist.

I hope it helps. Stay in touch with your healthcare provider for further guidance as our answers are just for education and counselling purposes and cannot be an alternative to actual visit to a doctor.
Take care
