User Profile
I stopped taking my birth control midpack and got my period for a few days immediatley after. I had unprotected sex a few times after stopping the pill and now i have a sore breasts, extreme fatigue, but i can't fall asleep at night. I took two hpt last week which were both negative so i don't know if i should take another test? I am either 2+ weeks late based on my original normal period, but im only 4 days late based on my period onset by stopping the pills, so i dont know if i should take another test or jsut wait it out?

Early Pregnancy Signs and Symptoms Answer A20180
Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum.
Your symptoms (sore breasts, extreme fatigue, altered sleep pattern etc.) do suggest possibility of pregnancy. Consider repeating the urine pregnancy test with an early morning first urine sample to get accurate results. You can repeat the test after a week and see if turns positive. For faster and accurate detection you can consider getting a blood HCG test done. Blood HCG test can detect pregnancy accurately as early as 11 days post conception. Visit your gynecologist for further examination and tests to confirm/rule out pregnancy.
Take care.
