I dont know if i am stressed or pregnant

I have had my period since 6th grade but it has never really been regular. I usually am two days later then the month before. Last week i did feel a little bloated and felt like i did have the symptoms of PMS. Is it possible to still have the symptoms of PMS just not have period because of the stress. Is there anyway that I can relax myself or eat certain foods in order to have my period begin like it should if im not pregnant

Sometimes periods can be delayed for 5-10 days due to various kinds of stress, changes in sleep, diet or exercise pattern, hormonal changes etc. If you suspect to be pregnant, look out for development of any other new symptoms suggestive of pregnancy. Wait and watch for your next period. If periods do not start within 10 days of expected period dates and you continue to have (or develop new) symptoms suggestive of pregnancy, you should consider visiting your doctor/gynecologist at the earliest for further examination (to confirm pregnancy related changes/signs in body) and blood/serum HCG level test (to confirm/rule out pregnancy accurately). If pregnancy gets ruled out, further evaluation would be needed to look for the underlying cause for the irregularity of periods. Treatment as appropriate would be started to help you get your periods and regulate them. Take adequate rest. Drink plenty of water. Maintain healthy diet.
