I do not know whether it is acne or a dangerous cold sore.

User Profile
Noticed little whit spots on the top of my lip. Only spot i noticed. Also on the corner of my mouth, a cold sorr or pimple. Most likely pimple because fluid and a hard substance (most likely blackhead) had gone away. I have had a fever for 12 hours yesterday feeling weak and thats all. I feel much better after taking tylenol. Today, i feel the same as i always do. What's wrong? I do not know whether it is acne or a dangerous cold sore.

Thank you for asking at Ehealth forum!

I read your question and i understand your concern. Presentation likely matches with an acne and nothing to woryr about, Just odnt pick pop or poke that pimple. Wait and see. Adapt precautionary measures like avoiding face scrub masking it with a make up or picking it. Wait and see wash frequently with tepid water and hope for the best.

I hope it helps. stay in touch with your healthcare provider for further guidance as our answers are just for education and counselling purposes and can not be an alternative to actual visit to a doctor.

Take care
