I believe that I also got infected

User Profile
Dear Dr,
Recently I had an affair with whom I had mouth-kissing many times but she doesn't have any bleeding or something . Once I had to have sex with her but I tried my thingy slightly to insert but I ejaculated well before insertion might be my thing would have touched the vagina I guess which happened 6 months back. From then on I didn't have sex or kissing relation with her. But recently I heard that lady tested to be HIV +ve , from then on I lost and trembled in to pieces I believe that I also got infected But for the past 6 months I had no severe complaints of any illness except common cold and more likely felt bit dizzy and tired thats all. accidently after the exposure in few days time I was about to take serology test in which HIV -non reactive before the test i have had mouth-kissing many times.

Hello and welcome to e health forum.

Based on the information given, since there was no complete penetrative intercourse involved, the risk of infection is very less.

But since the woman in question is confirmed to be HIV positive (as mentioned in the history), it is probable that you would definitely be in severe stress and doubt.

Hence it would definitely benefit you , by undergoing testing for HIV, via ELISA for HIV test.

In case you have already got it tested and it is negative, then it will confirm your HIV free status, and there is no need to worry about it.

I hope this helps.
