Hypoechoic Lymph Node in groin

My daughter had an ultrasound that reported a 1.7 x .5cm ovoid hypoechoic lymph node with a fatty echogenic hilum containing vascular flow.

We have an appointment for a surgical consult. What exactly does this diagnosis mean?

Because you are not telling me where this is I cannot interpret. There is a lymp node, somewhere that might or might not be a problem.
