User Profile
Hi Doctor,
I am 25 year old, height:157cm ,weight : 67kgs.
I have been married since 2 years. We are trying for child about 1year.

I have PCOS. I started the medication from October 2014(METFORMIN and OVIZONE) .CLOMID took for three month(not in continous month).period get only after DUPHASTONE.
Dr Said that to take CLOMID for 3 cycle also,2 cycle completed but no result.
hormone analysis did 2nd day of period all of them are normal. I have no sugar and BP.In another blood test MCV(78.6),neutrophills(40.2),lymphocyte(47 .6). now i have urin infection also.
Husband did semen analysis, active is 40.He taking FERTISURE M .
Doctor, i think PCOD is hormone imbalance problem.but from my hormone analysis all of them are normal and i have no sugar.then why my period didn't get regular and i couldn't get pregnant?what will be the future treatment?

Please give your valuable advice.

Thank you for asking at Ehealth forum!

I read your question and i understand your concern. Hormonal imbalance is correlated with menstrual irregularities. If they are regular, your weight is not bad for 157 cm but losing a few pounds would be helpful to conceive. Unless your periods get regular, odds of fertility stay low. Your husband semen analysis may be good for average but with spouses of PCOS, one needs perfect count and motility. I would say try try again as PCOS is sometimes very challenging and hard to get rid of and slow to resolve. COntinue diet and lifestyle and stay compliant to the medications. Hope for the best.

I hope it helps. Stay in touch with your healthcare provider for further guidance as our answers are just for education and counselling purposes and cannot be an alternative to actual visit to a doctor.
