I have had these huge red, blister like bumps forming on my pinky finger. They are itchy and uncomfortable and very sensitive. I'm not sure if it is a infection or allergic reaction. My whole finger is extremely red and puffy. What could this be?

Hello and Welcome

I appreciate your concern

It appears to be contact dermatitis with super imposed bacterial infection. An image of the affected finger would have been helpful, however if on clinical examination both the possibilities are confirmed then antibiotics and corticosteroid combinations can be applied locally and additional systemic antibiotics can be given , if the need be. Any discharge associated with the lesions should be sent for culture and sensitivity testing before the antibiotics are started.

wishing you best of health

thanks
