User Profile
I had sex on May 25, 2012 and I happen to know that I ovulated that day. However, i don't have a regular period. Many people think that you can't ovulate without a period, but it's not true. I've been confirmed by my gyno that i do ovulate with my irregular period. My question is, i tested positive that im pregnant at planned parenthood. I haven't been to my ultrasound yet, but i'd like to pinpoint how many weeks pregnant i am, if i concieved May 25th, 2012 and its now August 6th, 2012? How many weeks I am, if it is too late to have an abortion in Washington state, at my current gestation status.

Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum,
Although irregular menstrual cycles are associated with anovulatory menstrual cycles (menstrual cycles without egg release from ovary), it is possible to have occasional ovulation. If you have been sexually active around your ovulation time, pregnancy can result. Based on your probable conception date (25th May) you would be around 11 weeks pregnant, almost completing your first trimester. You would be starting with second trimester by August 10th if you have conceived around May 25th. Your due date (completion of 40 weeks gestation) would be February 15th 2013. Visit your doctor/gynecologist for further clarification and assistance.
Take care.
