How far along were you when you found out?

As of 3/22/2011 I am 6 days late, have taken 2 tests so far both are negative but I just have that 'feeling'. Until I pass the time waiting for either my period or a little plus sign I just wanted to hear from some other ladies who didn't show positive HPT results right away. How far along were you when you finally found out? My last pregnancy 4 years ago (ended in miscarriage) didn't show a positive HPT until I was 9 weeks along already, and a lady co-worker back then had told me about her sister's pregnancy where she was almost into her 2nd trimester before she got a positive result!

Welcome back to ehealthforum,
It is possible to keep on getting false negative results during early pregnancy. Since you have history of miscarriage, it would be better not to keep waiting until urine pregnancy tests turn positive. Go ahead with visiting your doctor/gynecologist for examination (to look for signs of pregnancy changes in body) and blood HCG test (to confirm/rule out pregnancy accurately). Blood HCG tests can detect pregnancy accurately as early as 11 days post conception.
Take care.
