It could just be my conscious because me and my bf have unprotected sex always without withdrawal so Im leaning to the fact that he is the father but im still a little puzzled even though me and the friend used protection now im pregnant according to the ultrasoun 6 week 3 days but Im taking it that this is a little off, should I be concerned? Pregnancy Calendar Conception : When did I Conceive ? Answer A1
Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum.
Conception can occur when sperm meets the egg and fertilizes it. This can happen within hours of intercourse or upto two days later than the intercourse (as sperm can survive inside female genital tract for upto 48 hours). So if egg was present at this time, you can get pregnant.
Early ultrasound scans are accurate +/- 5-7 days in telling you the exact gestational age. If you calculate backwards from the scan date, then your conception date would be +/- 5-7 days from the date calculated.
Hope this helps.
Take care.
