Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum,
Brown discharge could be suggestive of infection, cervical problems, pregnancy, hormonal derangements, etc. The exact cause can only be made out after careful evaluation. You should consider visiting your gynecologist/obstetrician at the earliest for further evaluation and investigations (blood and hormonal work-up, PAP smear test, vaginal swab/smear test, ultrasound scan etc). Appropriate treatment would be started based on examination and investigation results to help you to regulate your periods. You can also consider taking second opinion from another gynecologist/obstetrician and proceed with further management.
Take care.
