Hello Dr. Please I accidentally used the shaving stick of an Hiv positive patient unknowingly. I removed the razor blade and replaced it with a new one but the shaving stick was the same. There was no cut but felt burning sensation under my armpit and around my vagina when I took my bath immediately after shaving. Did I get infected? How soon can I get tested? I am so worried because I am breastfeeding

Welcome to e health forum.

Since the blade was new, there is no possible risk of infection .

There is no need to panic about getting infected nor there is any need to be tested specifically for this episode.
