I read your question and I understand your concern.
Hb electrophoresis and serum ferritin would be needed to sort out the underlying problem.

Thank you so much. I have reached out to my provider via phone, but I haven't gotten a response in a couple of weeks so I posted in the forum. I think I'll make an appointment to follow up. I'm looking forward to the possibility of feeling better!!
