Can A Healthy 60 Year Old Male Get the HPV Vaccine?
I'm 60 years old and have only had sex in a couple very long term relations lasting decades (and I always used a condom anyway). I read this week that in the US, it is now recommended that men up to 45 years old get the HPV vaccine. Can men older than 45 get the vaccine too?

Welcome to ehealthforum,
If you are sexually active, then consider discussing with your doctor/healthcare provider about taking the HPV vaccine. There are more than 100 varieties of HPV. HPV spreads via skin to skin contact and only few types are preventable by vaccine. The HPV vaccine usually prevents spread of those varieties or strains of virus that cause genital warts and cervical cancer. For further clarification, consider discussing your doctor/infectious disease specialist.
Take care.
