for the past eight months I have had problems with my bowels along with bloody mucus like stools. also my stomach has had so much inflamation it looks as if though i am about four to five months pregnant!! I know for sure that that is not the problem due to the fact that my cycles are normal and have had labs along with a tubal. The first dr. said that i had chrons disease and gave me some sterouids alond with asacol 800mg.. And now the gassrointernologist says that due to my latest labs he doesnt think that is what it is!! I am thirty years of age and have no other exsisting health issues other than endomertiosis, and lin the past month have had three uit's. Are there any other suggestins you can give to me that i should talk with my dr. about we are at aloss and my stomach is making me to the point that I am unable to preceed with my daily activities! Please help thanks

ello and thank you for posting your medical question on E health forum.

From the history provided it seems that you might have a inflammatory damage of the intestines that has resulted in severe symptoms.

Such long standing condition could be associated with conditions like inflammatory bowel disease, malabsorption syndromes, whipples disease, celiac disease, Irritable bowel syndrome, etc.

Here are a few tips to symptom control.
For control of the diarrhea, you might consider OTC antidiarrheals like Imodium for a day or two.

Bismuth subsalicylate can also be used for upset stomach and as an antiemetic (a medicine that treats nausea and vomiting).

Activated charcoal can help to relieve bad gas, bloating and belching symptoms.

In addition maintaining hydration with adequate intake of fluids is important.

You can consult your doctor or a gastroenterologist for a physical and additional tests for proper evaluation and treatment.

I hope this helps.
