Help Im Confused and frustrated

I have been seen by my doctor for hypoglyecmia. I tend to have moments of weakness and dizziness. I keep a check on my blood sugar which has a big range. One morning my fasting blood sugar will be 69 the next morning it will be 90. My doctor wants me to control this by eating protein and low carbs and eat more meals a day. I am confused and frustrated as to what foods i need to eat and when. At times 2 hours after i eat my blood sugar jumps to around 130's and then i still feel the symptoms even around 90 when i check my blood sugar. I have recently had a C-Peptide test done, a fasting insulin, pro insulin/insulin test done and my doctor says that all my numbers are normal. I am lost as to what kind of diet that i can do to keep my sugar levels up but not high, not to raise my blood pressure as i am already on med for that and to help me loose weight. I welcome any kinds of suggestions or advice. Should i go to another doctor and get a second opinion?
