Hi,I've been experiencing heavy burping for about a month and a half now and it won't stop! It persists even if I don't eat or drink anything (I only drink water always). It could go up to 200 times a HOUR. It's so bothersome because people notice after only being around me one hour. I went to my doctor and she only gave me acid reflex pills which aren't helping at all!! I have no other symptoms besides this burping that won't stop. Help Please!

Thank you for asking at Ehealth forum!

I read your question and i understand your concern. Burping means acid reflux. You need prokinetics like itopride, domperidone and antacids like nexium etc. Diet lifestyle adjustments, losing weight, more exercise will help. Visit our GERD health center for further guidance.

I hope it helps. Stay in touch with your healthcare provider for further guidance as our answers are just for education and counselling purposes and cannot be an alternative to actual visit to a doctor.
Take care
