sir my name is nagendra from hyderbad i am suffering from a electric shock of main and heaviness on my chest shoulder pain in left i consulted no.of doctors i went for ecg also bt said normal by doctors and the said its gastritis bt from one year i am facing the problem and they said bcz of anxiety and i have the habit of smoking what to do i am nt getting nw a days am getting negative thoughts feelina am feel its heart attack how to overcome plz tell me

Hi, and thanks for your medical question on eHealth forum!

If cardiac causes are ruled out then it can be due to gastric reflux and acidity. You will have to stop smoking. Take Omeprazole empty stomach in morning and an antacid gel at bedtime. Refrain from smoking, alcohol, fuzzy drinks, caffeine, and spicy food.
Apart from this consult an orthopedic specialist to rule out any cause in the shoulder and costochondritis (inflammation f joints of the rib). Hope this helps. Take care!
