Heartburn and trouble swallowing

I have heartburn, trouble swallowing meats and breads mainly, then when swallowing become real trouble some it cause me to throw up. What could be causing this, my doctor prescribed prolosec Otc...and zantac, gavason, and acidadophlis, it helped with everything but the acid but not the swallowing and throwing up.

Thanks for using this forum...

Trouble in swallowing proteins and carbs,could be due to gastric or esophageal ulcers..You should get an endoscopy and take plenty of fluids and the drugs prescribed..Vomitting is indicative of a severe gastric disease.Kindly consult a gastroenterologist to help you out...
