My 2.5year old baby got acute ischemic infarct 1year back..then he recoverd and blood clots were found in heart with treamtent they got resolved...now he has bilateral enlargement of heart and traces og MR in echo...doc suspecting restriction cardiomyopathy..

I read your question and I understand your concern.
Cardiomyopathy causes stasis which lead to embolic phenomena like stroke.He would need anticoagulation after 2 weeks of stroke to avoid such phenomena.
