My son, 26 years old has psychosis disorder and also has a very large pineal cyst, but no headaches or eye problems. He only has difficulty falling asleep and cannot sleep until 3 am and then wakes up in a few hours. Lackof sleep results in psychosis for which only the major tranquilizers help.

Recently he has developed hyperacausis and at 80 decibles he becomes very sensitive to noises. He does not go out at all because of this and at home we all have to be extremely quiet.

I wonder if this is due to the pineal cyst that is putting pressure on the tectum and slightly deforming the floor of the 3 rd ventricle?

Any suggestions
