Headaches every day - brain tumor ? (Page 4)

December 1st, 2012
I am 15 years old, and have multiple headaches per day. Some months ago; the doctors suggested that I have my eyes tested, but the results came back clear. They then suggested that my headaches were caused by dehydration, but I drink two coffees and several bottles of water a day, so it cannot be that. I am going back on Monday, so I shall post their thoughts on the matter then.
You could try drinking more fluids, and I have found that cracking your neck frequently increases the intensity of the headache, so avoid doing that. I would also suggest having your eyes tested, for if you require glasses, they can be a huge factor in the contribution to your headaches. I would also recommend giving Stress Relieving Binaural Beats a try, as they actually did work for me.

I'm 17 years old and I've been having bad headaches for about 2-3 weeks now. Along with nausea and confusion. Nothing really makes it worse, noise and light doesn't trigger them, and also when I take a bath to try cure it, I just end up getting a fever. I'm very close to going to get it checked soon if it still occurs. I will update you people if its anything serious.

Headache
I'm wondering what it is as well . I don't have insurance at the moment and can't go to doctor yet but when I do I hope it's nothing bad . I feel pain in the back of my head on the right side near my neck . And I have the same problem when I bend down to pick up something or to change my sons diaper I get up and it hurts real bad and feels like my brain it's going to pop out of my head . Especially when I try to go to sleep I close my eyes and feel my brain pumping real hard . I mean that's what its suppose to do but not like the way I experience it . It's just not normal to have a headache everyday :/ I need to go get test done too . My mom has the same problem as well

YOU NEED TO BUY EYE DROPS. Your eyes are very very DRY! You need to water them. Normal, random, cheapest eye drops (without steroids and drugs, medicines) will help! Without any papers. try it for this cind of haeadache. I had this cind of headake for about 10 years. I just use drops in the morning and when I go sleep! It is WORKING wonderfull! Thank you Tom From POLAND

Go see a doctor if you can. I know it can be difficult, but unexplained headaches are nothing to fool around with.

A possible cause that nobody has mentioned yet is allergies.

Headaches
I'm 13 & for the past 2 years I've had headaches everyday, too. It's exactly as you described it. Somedays it isn't that severe , others it feels as if I'm being hit in the head. My insurance won't cover a scan or whatever unless I record my headaches for a full month. I've tried but I failed to do so, for I'm forgetful. Does anybody know what could exactly be wrong ?

headache daily
Hi all! I am 29yrs old and I can say that 75% of the time I have a headache...most of the time its jus constant for days, I've been to a neurologist (sp) have tried migrain meds, ibuprofen, Tylenol. Currently my issue I thought had to do w my depo shot which one of many symptoms is headaches but my ob says its almost impossible, well something is goin on and I'm so sick of people acting like it's my daily routine like my diet or sleep or stress or make me feel like this is not a relevant issue that doesn't effect my daily life... I've tried lowering my caffeine intake, slowing down on smoking and I have no more stress than I did during the months I had relief from headaches! My last aha moment was when I realized this last cluster of headaches and other issues started back up when I got back on birth control...I'm ready to have tests done to make sure there is no other reason. However I've been told that there is little research done on headaches and u would think w the number of people who suffer from this we could have more/better answers...that's all jus really needed to vent and tell u all I feel your pain!

Hey I'm 14 and I've been having headaches everyday now. Sometimes it's above my eyes so that when I read or look at something, I'll have headaches but sometimes it's at the back of my head, near the neck. I kept on telling myself that this is just some tension headaches or what ever because I tend to get emotional quickly when people talk about my father. Also I keep on forgetting stuff or lost of words and umm I kinda forget about stuff easily. IT'S REALLY ANNOYING! I lost grades because of it! I do have a slight growth on my inner eye but I when to an eye specialist and he said that it was just chalazia or something so idk maybe that's the reason why? About a month ago, I was diagnose with piles and every week since then I kept on having fevers and cold so yup it's really annoying. Dont get me wrong but my exams are coming soon and I'm just so sick of all these sickness :/

Yes headache is a common symptom that may occur in otherwise healthy individuals. Typically, physicians are not concerned if the headache is occasional, mild, of short duration, and caused by identifiable factors (e.g., flu-like illness, sinus infection, fasting, sleep deprivation, or alcohol-induced "hangover")

Sinus Headaches
A lot of these symptoms that people are describing sound like 'sinus headaches.' Go to your doctor, ask for x-rays or an mri scan...have your sinus' checked properly - they can cause chronic pain that doesn't go away, especially first thing in the morning when you get out of bed, or during the day when bending down.

I am 14 and I get daily headaches too, around the same areas. Some days mine are worse than other days. I had a blood test and I am anemic, but taking iron supplements doesn't seem to help, so I've been tried in several medications and I will be going for a head scan sometime this month. If I find out what's wrong I will let you know, I hope everyone is ok.

I have had a similar headache for 4 years. Came on ine day in october Had it checked with mri and lp. Nothing. No obvious findings on mri. My father had an acostic nueroma. Nothing relieves the pain. Never goes away. I wish they would do some research on this. There has to be an explanation and treatment.

Brain tumor treatment can be based on different factors:

1. Age, overall health and medical history
2. The type, location and size of the tumor
3. Nature of recurrence
4. Tolerance level of the patient to certain medications, procedures or therapies

Specialists who treat brain tumors include neurosurgeons, medical oncologists and radiation oncologists. In addition to the specialist, the treatment team may include other professionals such as a nurse, dietitian, mental health counsellor, physical therapist, occupational therapist, and/or speech therapist.
