CONSTANT HEADACHES
I am 43, and have been suffering from constant headaches since Jan 2007. Following a bout with pneumonia, I was left with this condition (constant headaches that range from a 3 thru a 12 on a 10point scale. I struggle to get thru my day, but there are some days that I can't leave my house, let alone my bedroom. I have ran the gauntlet of pain meds. I did get a breif period of relief as a inpatient recieving DHE protcol via IV. But shortly after my discharge the headaches returned. My MRI/CAT scan revealed 14 white lesions (my nuerologist, says a person usually will have 1 white lesion for every 10 yrs of life) Not sure how I ended up with 14 remains a mystery to me. Not sure were to turn at this point.

Same here!!I am 17, and for the last few months I have woken up with a headache. Sometimes it hurts so bad I cant move... but other times it feels like a small ache. At first, my headaches started at the left side of my head, but more recently my headaches have gradually started to effect the rest of my head, and it's started to hurt at different times other than in the morning. I have been to my doctors and he started me on pizotifen, however, this didn't work for me so he put me on the Beta Blocker, Propranolol. So far, this hasn't helped either, though my headaches have stopped in the morning, but I am still getting headaches at points in the day. Anyone know what could be the problem? My doctor said he was going to refer me to a neurologist if there's no improvement... Should I be worried?

Yeah, that's really wierd because I have the exact same thing as you described, Katie. I was told the "dream" thing was due to lack of Potassium and the headaches were probably due to stress and lack of eating healthy food and exercise. Try eating better, taking potassium vitamins, and exercising and see if they don't go away and the "dream sequences" don't either.

Headaches :(
I'm so glad there are other people out there with the exact same symptoms as me! I am 18 years old and I do have anxiety and when I am really stressed I get panic attacks. I also have migraines. I usually get headaches all the time, (been happening for a year or more now) sometimes throbbing pains and sometimes a dull pain! and I feel weird like dizzy kind of and like things aren't real. But no one understands and thinks I am just worrying because it's hard to describe the pain. I had a CT scan last year and it was all clear, was going for an MRI but i chickened out but have had blood tests, heart monitored checks and everything is clear. so why am i getting these headaches?! I always think im going to have an aneurism or brain tumor but my health checks seem to say im healthy. I am now 5 months pregnant and for the last couple of months i have had constant headaches everyday. its starting to worry me. ive had tests done and they are all clear. I have a coffee in the morning and that usually helps until about 2 in the afternoon and i end up taking panadol. I think the headaches worsen my anxiety or maybe my anxiety is the cause? Its just hard because no one in my family understands Sad im glad yous all can unserstand me and i hope everything goes well for you!

Headaches everyday
I have experienced headaches for 25 years, first they were sort of weekly, then working up to nearly everyday. Panadol, Aspro and the hot water bottle and still the pain persisted. Doctors tried to get me onto an everyday headache tablet, told me to gain some weight, manage my symptoms better and the list goes on. After two seizures I had had enough of doctors, and decided to research and experiment, and here i am headache free now for about 8 months, except for a mild headache with periods. My answer gluten intolerance, it took a bit to work out what had gluten and what didn't but the results are wonderful. It only took like two days with out Gluten/wheat and no headaches, life is great. Now due to a misdiagnosis with a lump I have cancer to figure out, just another challenge.
I hope this helps some of you. Going with out some of the everyday gluten full foods is definetly worth it.
And see a Nutritionist.

Headaches everyday
"miamiamii" do you actually suffer from headaches? Most people I know including myself try just about everything to figure out what is causing the headaches, including getting our eyes examined. The check list goes something like this: eye tests, ears checked, head scans, blood pressure, allergies, all the things that doctors send people for, but these doctors don't check things like nutrition which I believe is very important in maintaining a healthy body. (because doctors don't make money from making people healthy)

temporary cure
I also suffer from continuos day to day headaches, I found that going to a naturalpath and getting a massage called the bowen technique done is the best long term way of dealing with it. It gets rid of the headaches for 1 to 3 months for around $40

Headache everyday
Hi there, I'm helping my partner to find out the reason for his daily headache. I'd read through this site and it seems that many are facing the same problem. Ok, this was whats happening. He's at his mid thirties now. His head hurts badly almost everyday. I realized it was extremely pain on weekends! Wonder what's the reason. He jgot headache out of a sudden for no reason. It spoils his appetite too. He tried popping some pills like panadols, it does help at the beginning but it doesn't seems to work now. And I doesn't wish to see him taking pills almost everyday as I know that too much of these pills might be harmful to his health.

Anyone out there knows how to prevent or ways to relieve his headaches? Or is there really something is growing in his head ?

I'm 16 and I started getting these headaches about a week ago now, I'm going to get my eyes re-tested tomorrow so im hoping that my glasses are the problem, if not, im going to go see a doctor asap. I've found that simply going for walks or runs helps, maybe thats what it is, drink plenty of water too! Smile

I had headaches for years and went through a barrage of tests including mri's, xrays, blood tests etc...which found nothing. I also have tmj (temporomandibular joint) disorder which is a condition of the jaw where it tightens and sometimes can become locked. I discovered that I clench my teeth a lot, even when I'm not stressed and the worse the headaches get, the more I clench. My dentist told me to take 800 milligrams of ibuprofen every 4-6 hours for a week to reduce the swelling. I've found if I do that and concentrate on not clenching my teeth, also limit my caffeine intake, that the headaches will subside. I hope this helps some of you!
